Specifically:

  • They allow you to navigate efficiently from page to page on the website.
  • Store the username and preferences you enter.
  • Avoid entering the same information (such as username and password) multiple times during a visit.
  • Measure the use of services by Users, to optimize the browsing experience and services.
  • They present targeted advertising information according to the interests and behavior expressed by the User during navigation.
  • There are various types of cookies.

Below are the types of cookies that may be used on the Site with a description of the purpose of their use.

Technical cookies

This type of cookie is necessary for certain areas of the site to function correctly. Cookies in this category include both persistent cookies and session cookies. In the absence of these cookies, the site or certain portions of it may not function properly. Therefore, they are always used, regardless of your preferences. Cookies in this category are always sent from our domain.

Analytical cookies

Cookies of this type are used to collect information on the use of the site. The Owner uses this information for statistical analysis, to improve the site and simplify its use, as well as to monitor its correct functioning. This type of cookie collects information in an anonymous form on the activity of users on the site and on the way they arrived at the Site and the pages they visited. Cookies in this category are sent from the Site itself or from third-party domains.

Third-party tracking cookies

These types of cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use the website, the keywords they use to reach the site, the websites they visit, and the traffic origins of visitors for marketing campaigns. The owner may use this information to compile reports and improve the Site. Cookies collect information in an anonymous form. Cookies of this type are sent from the Site itself or from third-party domains.

Third-party functionality integration cookies

These types of cookies are used to integrate third-party features into the Site (for example, comment forms or social network icons that allow visitors to share the content of the site). Cookies in this category may be sent from the domains of partner sites or sites that offer the functionalities on the Site.
The Owner is not required to request the user’s consent for technical cookies, as these are strictly necessary for the provision of the service.

For other types of cookies, consent may be expressed by the User, by current legislation, through specific configurations of the browser and computer programs or devices that are easy and clear for the User to use. The Owner reminds the User that it is possible to modify the preferences relating to cookies at any time. It is also possible to disable cookies from the browser at any time, but this operation may prevent the User from using certain parts of the Site.

Third-Party Websites and Cookies

The site contains links to other websites that have their own privacy policies. These privacy policies may differ from the one adopted by the Owner, who is therefore not responsible for third-party websites.
According to art. 122-second paragraph of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 the consent to the use of such cookies is expressed by the person concerned through the individual setting that he freely chose for the browser used to browse the site, without prejudice to the right of the user to communicate at any time to the Data Controller his will regarding data managed through cookies that the browser itself has accepted.

Visiting a website you can receive cookies both from the site visited (“owners”) and from sites operated by other organizations (“third parties”). A notable example is a presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. These are parts of the visited page generated directly by these sites and integrated into the host site page. The most common use of social plugins is to share content on social networks.

The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies from and to all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant information to which please refer. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, below are the web addresses of the various policies and procedures for managing cookies.

Google Analytics

The site also includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Also in this case these are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).

Google Analytics uses “cookies” to anonymously collect and analyze information about site usage behavior (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of compiling reports for site operators on website activity. This site does not use (and does not allow third-parties to use) Google’s analytics tool to track or collect personally identifiable information. Google does not associate IP addresses with any other data held by Google nor does it attempt to link an IP address with a user’s identity. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

For more information, please refer to this link:  https://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/

You may selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on your browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Duration of cookies

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until you close your browser or issue a logout command. Other cookies “survive” when the browser is closed and are available on subsequent visits by the user.

These cookies are called persistent and their duration is fixed by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases an expiry date is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

Management of cookies

The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies using the settings of your browser.

Warning: the total or partial disabling of technical cookies may compromise the use of site features reserved for registered users. On the contrary, the usability of public content is possible even if cookies are completely disabled.

The disabling of “third-party” cookies does not affect in any way navigability.

The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. In addition, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third-party” cookies.

For example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept different types of cookies and proceed to their removal.
